A Pair of Cantonese Medallion Spoons, Date 1947 A pair of Chinese Cantonese medallion porcelain spoons with the mark: Zhong Hua Min Guo San Shi Liu Nian (year 1947).
Zhong Hua Min Guo means Republic of China, which means Taiwan. It is very unusual to have a mark with the country name and year, specially made for the Republic of China. It probably was a special order dinning set for government use.
