A Hongmu (Blackwood) Document Tray, Late 19th Century
This finely made rectangular tray has a subtle grooved rim, double-tier design on all four sides, top and bottom, and four low feet. The tray has an elegant beaded open work frame around the four-side panels.
It is in excellent condition, apart from an old dent on one short side rim, and some old ink marks on the center panel.
