Two Chinese Ladles, Late 19th century
A lovely linden wood made tea-ladle with pomegranate motif carved on the handle, together with water ladle made from gourd melon. Pomegranate metaphor generate, it is one of most popular motif to appear in Chinese works of art.
The small water ladle with wonderful patina made from gourd melon, interior covered with red lacquer.Both items has wonderful condition and in excellent condition.
