A pair of shoes toggle in Cizhou style covered in white slip with translucent glaze over the black slip painted details with a pair of bats depicted on the sides and a suspension hole through middle of shoe pair with unglazed flat base. Shoe is a symbol of marital bliss while bat symbolizing happiness.
